"The national sheep dog trials in Canberra has been won for the first time by Mick Hudson who operates Rosevale Station one hundred kilometres south east of Cobar. The forty two year old who also has a white Dorper stud near Dubbo triumphed over some more fancied opponents at the championships staged over several days at the Hall showgrounds which is a small village on the ACT/New South Wales border. Mr Hudson told Michael Cavanagh - he only got back into competition several years ago after first taking part as a teenager..."
